We are currently recruiting for two exciting roles within our passionate and knowledgeable team:

☕ Café Manager (Full-Time / Permanent)
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Café Manager to lead daily operations within our busy visitor centre café. This is a key leadership role focused on delivering excellent customer service while driving business performance, team development, and sustainable hospitality practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day café operations, staff, and rotas
- Ensure high standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and compliance (COSHH, Natasha’s Law, allergens)
- Lead recruitment, training, and team development
- Oversee stock control, menu development, and seasonal offerings
- Deliver excellent customer service and enhance visitor experience
- Manage financial performance, including cash handling and targets
Requirements:
- Experience in café or hospitality management
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen legislation
- Food Safety & Hygiene Level 3 qualification
- Leadership, organisational, and communication skills

🌿 Educational Tour Guide (Part-Time, Flexible)
We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Educational Tour Guide to deliver interactive learning experiences to school groups inside our tropical glasshouses.
This is a unique opportunity to work in an immersive rainforest environment, guiding students (Years 1–8) and teaching key topics aligned with the UK national curriculum, including rainforest ecosystems, climate change, sustainability, and biodiversity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead educational tours for school groups in a rainforest setting
- Deliver engaging content on conservation, climate change, and sustainability
- Facilitate workshops, holiday activities, and public tours
- Develop strong knowledge of rainforest plants, animals, and ecosystems
Requirements:
- Experience in education, teaching, or tour guiding (preferred)
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Ability to learn and present complex environmental topics
- Flexible, reliable, and a team player
- Must be able to drive due to rural location
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Salary & Hours:
- £15.50 per tour (once trained)
- £12.21 per hour during training
- Flexible, part-time casual contract (hours vary based on bookings)
