Poisons and Potions: our new autumn trail is now open

Poisons and Potions is now open, just in time for spooky season!
Our glasshouses just got a little more mysterious. Can you work out which of our plants and creatures are deadly poisons, and which might just be secret potions?
Follow the Poisons and Potions trail through the glasshouses and hunt down the trail signs as you explore. Each sign holds clues to help you decide whether the species in front of you is a poison, a potion, or a bit of both.
Once you’ve cracked the clues, put your new knowledge to the test with games and puzzles in the booklet. You can also enter our colouring competition, with a soft toy up for grabs for our favourite entries.
The booklet comes in two versions, one for ages 4–7 and one for ages 7 and up, so the whole family can join the hunt together.
How to get your booklet
All our tickets are now annual passes. Once you’ve bought yours, just book a time slot whenever you’d like to visit. You can pre-order your Poisons and Potions booklet for £1.50 when you book your ticket or time slot.
