We provide unique and memorable experience for all visiting schools. Our multi-award-winning centre and acclaimed education programme welcomed over 20,000 school children last year.
School tours
Our learning environment has over 800 species of rainforest plants and animals, including free-ranging birds, small reptiles and a two-toed sloth. Guided tours provide an engaging and immersive experience within Key Stages 1, 2, 3 & 4 and beyond.
We offer a choice of four tours plus additional bespoke learning opportunities where needed.

International Student Competitions for Schools
Every year, around 1,500 schoolchildren & teachers from 60 countries participate in our competitions & debates. The competitions focus on finding positive solutions to global sustainability challenges like climate change and biodiversity loss. Based on a different theme each year, the competitions help empower students & schools to build a better world.
Our World from Space
We are delighted to be part of ‘Our World From Space’, a two-year national STEM programme exploring the relevance of UK space science for the future health and sustainability of our home planet, funded by the UK Space Agency in partnership with the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) part of UK Research and Innovation.
