Rainforests from Space
Rainforests from Space
This festive season, why not try something a little different and explore Rainforests from Space!
Enjoy games & activities from 10:15-10:45 AM and 1:30-2:15 PM
As part of the UK Space Agency’s Our World from Space Project, the Living Rainforest is inviting visitors to learn more about how satellites are helping to protect our planet. With a series of interactive games, activities, quizzes and displays suitable for all ages, we encourage visitors to explore the concept of space research as it relates to our everyday lives, and to the world’s rainforests and other ecosystems.
Learn more about how we can observe human impacts such as deforestation, track endangered species (and Santa!) and monitor climate change, as well as how satellite data can be used by scientists and policy makers to help reverse the damage being caused to our precious planet.
Don't miss Rainforests From Space (December 16 - January 7) - Book your visit today
