Fun activities for all the family this summer

Join us at the Living Rainforest this summer and discover the rainforest right on your doorstep. Each day we will have crafts and family games from 11am to 3pm. You’ll have the chance to watch our Goeldi’s monkeys feeding time at 12.30pm, or go on one of our fascinating guided tours at 11.30am or 1.30pm. On most days we also have an animal talk at 3pm.

Don’t miss our popular rainforest music workshops starting on the 20th August for one week only. Learn about the music of different indigenous groups living in the rainforest. Have a go yourself at playing a wide variety of instruments, and take home your own unique recording of instruments mixed together with rainforest sound effects.

Explore sustainable futures

Life Below water SDG

You can also learn about sustainable futures in our new exhibition. This summer our focus is on sustainable futures and oceans. We’ll be looking at the issues affecting oceans from plastics to global warming, and exploring some fun and practical tips to help save our seas. We’d like your ideas too, so join in the conversation and let us know what you think in our ‘dream big’ box.
