Help support schools currently struggling to pay for school visits

As energy and other costs rise, schools are having to make tough choices to balance their books.

Without external support, some schools are having to make tough choices and skip valuable educational visits to the Living Rainforest.

A tour guide shows a group of school children around the Living Rainforest glasshousesAs an educational charity, the Living Rainforest welcomes around 25,000 schoolchildren a year on school visits which directly support learning in the National Curriculum.

Nominated every year for the past 3 years for “Best Geography Learning Experience” in the School Travel Awards, we are self-funded and receive no government support for our vital educational work in the UK and overseas.

It would be a shame if only the wealthier and more privileged schools could visit us this year.

Are you in a position to help struggling schools? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

School Visits cost £159 per group of 17 people (£9.35 per person).
